Hi, I’m Salli, the photographer behind Boo and Bertie.
Creativity has always been part of my life, shaped by a background in art and dance. Over time, that naturally led me to photography, and more specifically, to capturing the connection between people and their dogs.
I share my life with three Whippets, Bertie, Elliot and Sydney, who are very much the reason this business exists. Living alongside them has given me a deep appreciation for how individual every dog is, and how quickly the small, everyday moments become the ones we value most.
My approach to photography is calm, patient, and led by your dog. I take the time to understand their personality, allowing them to feel at ease so that nothing feels forced or unnatural.
The result is a set of images that reflect not just how your dog looks, but who they are, and the relationship you share.

BOO (2009-2025)
Bertie, also known as Bertielicious, Super Bertie, Sausage and countless other nicknames, is sweetness, sass and personality all rolled into one. Whether she's curled up by my feet or finding her next adventure, she has a way of melting my heart every single day.
BERTIE
My gentle boy. They say you never quite know what you're getting with a rescue, but with Elliot I truly hit the jackpot. He has the softest soul and a heart full of love, reminding me every day just how special second chances can be.
ELLIOT
Our little blue whirlwind. Still finding his feet, Sydney has already brought endless joy, energy and mischief to our home. One playful bounce at a time, he's slowly charming both Elliot and Bertie.
